That category covers work across computer systems, manufacturing, software publishing, and other industries. It is not a census of gameplay programmers. Median also means half of measured workers are above and half below; it is not an entry-level offer.

Narrow the comparison

For a useful game-industry range, match:

  • discipline: gameplay, engine, backend, tools, technical art, QA, production;
